Yes, thank you for the comment! As much as the Apparition sucked (and it REALLY DID!!!) it did at least have something going for it visually.
And as for the Poe short story, I once came across an illustrated version of it in an antique shop when I was 8 which I casually flicked through. And that black and white image of Fortunato dressed in a jesters costume being entombed by the laughing, nefarious Montresor gave me nightmares for weeks.
