Pretty straightforward story-wise, so there's not much to comment. I'll leave it up to you to interpret whether they really did try to save Chester, or if it's just some psychological trick Van Buren is using against Jackson

PRODUCTION NOTES:
This page got a little messier than the last, but it still looks quite good. I pretty much produced this entire page in 24 hours, and I wasn't even stressing too much about it. The new art style is reeeeeeally doing wonders. Three pages in one week, whew!

I'll say though, the former lineart was sharper. Maybe it's a matter of time to get this method better.

I agree with you - the previous lineart was sharper, and for all intents and purposes, better.
But my last page using that method took weeks to finish... maybe even a month, and you simply cannot tell a story if you're going at a pace of 12 pages a year.
With the new method, as you say, it's a rush. I doubt I'll sustain three pages a week, but even if it's one or two per week, I'm still speeding up massively.
So.. yeah, it looks worse - but it doesn't look that much worse, and what I'm winning is definitely worth the trade
You definitely have a point though - as I learn the inns and outs of the method, I'm sure I'll begin to improve as well.

It began that way, yes. The masks are obviously inspired by TMNT, and when I started out, I was hoping to make something... same same but different. Today though, the comic has a very different aim.
"what's this about?" (referencing my old Vanguard comic)
It's two pages from a manga I started but never continued. The comic was going to be about soldiers fighting an alien invasion on another planet.
"what are they? mutated wolves?"
