Some may enjoy Formula One Racing..or Grand Prix Motorcycle and Superbike Racing..but for a true Gearhead..it all seems just that little bit too clean and plastic..or should that be fibreglass..it is for this GearPunk😆..and by no means dirty and gritty enough..if you are a lover of racing at a different level, say the Street Racer, then you want to see the grime and the grease and the dust..the blue grey smoke and red green tinges of spilt fuel..the sweat dripping from the rider's face as they power through a corner past you at 100 plus miles an hour..you wish to smell the motor burning with heat and the crackling of an urban bitumen road or a motocross track clouded by dust particles and or mud..or even a little blood..it is the dangerous idea of racing that gives a Gearhead an adrenaline rush and the fact that what they are witnessing are machines that came out of a human being's imagination and thought processes..and then given life by way of the incredible engineering done by that human being's hands..all covered in filth and grease as they tinker with the mechanics...that quest for speed that makes the pulse race and the blood pump..yoy only have to watch films like Fast n Furious to get just a little sense of what Bituman Bandits enjoy so much about their passions for Hotrods and Cafe Racers and Drift Machines or salt flat Race machines and Funny Car Dragsters or Stock Cars and Classic NASCAR fury..if if has dirt and grit and grime and grease and fuel and then add to that the engineering of motors and the personalities of the operators/drivers/riders and the mechanics then you may know what I mean..even the throaty growl of powerful engines, be they car or bike, the rumbling thrumm of engines pushed past breaking so much so that when they howl by your whole body vibrates with their speed and noise..that is the stuff of Legend for us Gearheads..put all I mention here in one speeding package and it all puts smiles on the dials of female and male Motor fIendz and becomes not just a pastime but a beautifully dangerous and life long passion..the orginal Art for this was done in colour, but then I felt it was too crisp n clean..so I put in some high octane and gave it a grease and oil change..then took it for a race in the grit and grime and added The Street to the scribble..covered her in some bitumen filth..and from the colourful..came..'The Racer.'...♡♡(/-\)...
