Description Half the moon shines tonight
So that half of heaven is alight
With the radiance of our dreams
Torn apart at their fickle seems

Half the moon hides in death
Chilling the brunt of heaven’s breath
I would remind her that you died
But, in truth, I never cried.

Half the sky snickers with spite
As my pain fuels the cold of night
Because you would rather die in vain
Than live with anything my heart contained

I daresay once I thought I loved you
Enough to have cried until I was blue
Yet there is no change within my heart
You simply never were worth your part.

There is no God in deepest space
So says the moon with half a face
I once knew better than to agree
But I lost all when you fled from me.
