Description I stood at the eastern shore and looked out
And behold a visage adorned in silver
Stared back at me with iridescent stars
Replacing eyes on his resplendent countenance

His supernal voice dislodged the hills
And leveled the greatest mountain tops
His awesome glare illuminated the depths
Of mercurial waters formerly bereft of light.

Yet to me every word that manifested from his lips
Trekked in the humble pitch of whispers
And in the grace of sound so meek and calm
Purest amenity commandeered my bitter thoughts

In wake of divine serenity’s command
Abundant somnolence allotted my senses
A place in Eden through a troubled night
And dolorous thoughts were cast away.

From the eastern shore I watched them vanish
Cognizant of their only fleeting absence
I found a smile within the shadows of grief
And halcyon philosophies lured me to rest.
