are damned from their own ambition
for we are all seeking our permanence
in the root of what is only perpetually evanescent.

Know it in thy soul…
The perfect world cast before our eyes
is not there and never will be
the delusion we cherish so dearly
is the masquerade of mass insanity.

This life is cruel at its very core
for there is nothing in this world colder
than the depths of the human heart
capable of inconceivable horror.

Some lights are only supernal jokes
every human dream resides en masse
in sailing ships seen in the distance
forever transfixed to the horizon.

Remember always and forever;
Love lost is the premature taste of death
if the God of Heaven is Love, then how
can He ever be truly lost in our souls
unless He was never there at all?

Solitude is no man’s paradise for long
the lonesome stars of heaven shining
are angels tears of infinite despondency
