I am not myself;I am merely the puppet of the sword
It thrives in the precarious lairs of thought:
confined to fickle dreams of yearning eternally
for the other side. Nothing fulfills me
I see you watching from afar,
admiration glistening in your captivated eyes…
but I am not so complex.
All that’s necessary to elicit solace is comprehension;
No one walks alone, and so
I am no one, not myself.
