Some background info... about a month ago I got an email from a model I worked with, Mario Cubillos, asking me why I had distributed his image to a trashy male website. Well, I hadn't. I hope that this photo articulates how I feel about copyright violators.After contacting the website, I tracked the woman down and sent her a long email. I don't think she realized the impact that copyright violation has on artists, and I feel that I was able to communicate it to her effectively. And despite the implications of the photo, I did not track her down and execute Dim Mak, Touch of Death upon her.
You know, this got a DD... but at the end of the day, I hope that I am not remembered like this. Copyright violation isn't something that preoccupies me regularly... when I made it, it was simply on the top of my mind.
The point is this: if you have decided to drop by, I humbly invite you to check out the rest of my work; I feel that it is better representative of my view that everything in life is to be appreciated. As is, I feel this DD may suggest that the rest of my portfolio is full of hellfire and damnation. Hopefully you will have the opportunity to see that hellfire and damnation comprise a very small portion.

You know when I first saw this in the DD area I didn't really get it. After clicking on the picture and reading the story, the picture made total sense. It's a great picture that makes a statement. Good job!

Heh, I've never had my art stolen, nor do I have anything -worth- stealing, but I totally understand. I'm sure it tears artists apart when they see their artwork, not only taken and redistributed, but under someone else's name. Sorry to hear about your problems, and I hope it won't happen again.

the reason i like this so much is that it reminds me of this painting by a local artist that was hanging in my favorite coffee house. it was basicly the same, but not so angry. the guy in the painting, which was done in mostly blue, looked like he could have been some mob boss or something of the sort. his mouth was just opening/ closing, and he had a finger pointing towards... the window of the frame i suppose. the painting was amazing, as is the picture. i love them both so much because you can imajine so many different things that said subjects are about to say. your photo especially has specific feeling that almost feels like im being yelled at.
the painting was posted as being $800. it was bought not long ago for about $300. damn, i can afford that... cant have the painting.
but the picture here, noone can buy, and i can look at it as long as i please.
you should rastorize it and paste it on a wall.
