Ancestries - the lineage of my chief character, Danbuster Cameronean Leadboot.
The last in the series - which is of course, the present generation!

Grandson of Great War Veteran, Buster Leadboot, and son of Christopher Leadboot, the next descendant of the line was Bustopher Cameronean Leadboot.
A true Scuttish hare, he was born and bred in Scutland and for a time worked for the Royal Bank of Scutland as a clerk for the local branch in his native town of Edinburrow.
(Incidentally, the capital city of Scutland got its name in the following circumstances. As the settlers, who were of different species, were sounding out the land to contemplate the founding of the town, they turned to their leader, who was an old grey lop-earred rabbit.
"What do you want to call this new settlement?" they asked. But the rabbit was too busy digging the beginnings of a new home.
One of his aides, a ferret from Northern Aniland, remarked, "Ah, it's no use asking 'im now, lads. 'E's got 'is 'ead in th' burrow!"
The name stuck.)

Bustopher never took to city life - due to the hereditary love of the country passed down by his farming ancestors - so when he heard of an opening for a Chief Clerk at a RBS branch in the town of Broadhares in South East Aniland, he applied and got his much deserved promotion.
He later married a post-mistress called Daniella Fleetfoot and had a son, Danbuster... GAH!!

*sudden sounds of a scuffle - then a different voice takes over*

This is Retsubnad Leadboot speaking now! I'm taking over this description!
Now listen up! Danbuster was not the only descendant of the Leadboots... I'm part of this family too, you know! I am Danbuster's twin brother.
Now, life should have been good... we were happy for the first few weeks, as you see in this picture. Then this doctor showed up on the scene... I never learned his name, but may it be forever forgotten anyway! An extremely superstitious bloke, how he got the job I don't know, and when he saw that I looked like Danbuster, but had dark fur and yellow eyes, he leapt to the conclusion that I was born an "evil twin"! He had me taken away from my family and put into foster care! They were cruel to me, so I ran away.
For a time, I was looked after by some old lady - but she turned out to be the leader of a witches coven. For a time, I was part of it, and developed an interest in magic. I also liked practical jokes, however, so they harshly kicked me out.
Alone once again, I swore revenge. I studied magic under my own strength, gained powers you can't even imagine and aimed to better myself and fulfill but one ambition. To conquer the world and so prove that I'm worthy of respect!
*sighs* Now you know... it's all out.

I hear he was later struck off for trying to incinerate a baby female rat because he thought she was a witch. He left the hospital under a cloud, with a summons to court... but was promptly run over by a steam roller when stepping off the pavement to avoid walking under a ladder.
