Description Following on from my previous Fire and Ice , featuring my lead dragons Pyrrhus and Jökull with their families.

Here we see the many friends they met on their epic journey to seek a safe land, free from the interference of the human knights and 16th century feudal armies that would seek to wipe out their kind.

From the top, going anticlockwise:

Fēng-Lóng

A Chinese Eastern wind dragon, and the first friend met by Pyrrhus in his adventures. Fēng-Lóng is the oldest of the dragon friends at well over 800 years old, and is also the wisest and most philosophical. He was to become the catalyst for the quest for the Isle of Dragons, as it was at his suggestion that he first set out on his epic journey. He is quietly spoken and patient.

Catatumbo

The youngest of the dragons (around 200 years), Catatumbo is a lightning dragon with a quick wit, a runaway tongue and a zippy turn of speed. Originating from the stormy Lake Maracaibo in Venezuela, he's also prone to be a bit of a prankster and loves a laugh. His extravert nature comes from a desire to impress new friends and he's eager to please.

Tlallicoatl

Old viewers may recognise Tlallicoatl, the nature dragon who in modern-day would go on to become the Guardian Dragon to Danbuster's Dan Clan. Little has changed since the 1500s, when she was a lot younger (nearer 200) and still living in Mexico. In these early days, she spent many years as the self-proclaimed Guardian of a small outlying Aztec village, who revered her as one of their gods (despite her denial of deity) and would pray to her to bless their crops with her powers over nature.

Kailani

A mighty blue sea dragon, Kailani is a protective and motherly creature who commands a large area of the South Pacific as her territory and she protects it with great care from any who would trespass upon it. Keen to protect the hidden regions in the centre of her claimed sea-space, she uses every trick she can think of to deter ships, ranging from stirring up choppy storm-like conditions to blasting those who come too close with jets of water, with the power of a fire-hose.
