...aware that she could have vengance on all her enemies, Shannon took the crystal ball, but didn't heed the warnings of the ederly witch who offered it. A mispoken word in the ancient tounge caused a spell to backfire......this story sucks. Somebody come up with a better one and send the link to me.

Hmmmm.....Given the mighty challenage that I accept! I say! She was a young sorceress who had in her hand an orb which at any given time when the sorceress held could transform her into a cat for 3 days. Her sorceress satus discovered, she had no choice but to use it fully of aware that she has never used it and the other fact about it was "Used for the first time and one must spend a month." Too bad she forgot to light a candle for her first time. Now she has year.

Scrying... deeper and deeper into the shadowed realms. She ached but took no notice, her arms, locked and fixed as tight as her gaze deep into the sphere. She took no notice of the alterations to her body but just as it is true that the object being observed changes by the very fact that it is being observed so to does the observer.
She had this stone of power now and she intended to probe it's mysteries. She dove deeper still her soul linked through her gaze into the deepest of the shadow realms. No one will ever know what she found there, not since her mind grew to match her outward features, not since her thumbs became useless nubs and the sphere a plaything for the first of a new species. Her mind robbed, or some would say freed from human concerns now inhabits the body of a catgirl. She will eat, sleep, leave her waste in the sandbox and find a mate of suitable stock. In her search for a mate she'll naturally scratch or bite a few prospective matches who will in turn find that the darkest realms have the darkest of curses for those who would plunder them.
