a shot taken in this arabic cafe,i was trying to get my focus on the reflection of the fancy light on the marble table.. i guess i juz cant get a good shot. lol

very interesting subject but as you yourself said it, the focus is off.
no worries. go back and try again.
with auto focusing its abit tricky. you can try this method.
first, decide the angle. in this case, the focus is thrown off by the obecjt on the right. keep the distance between the lens and subject constant. aim from top of the subject first. half shutter. that will lock the focus in. then tilt to the angle you want. then shoot. see if it works for you.

I think it's a great shot tho.. it looks so strange, and you can see very well the candle and the reflections

the reflection makes the table look as if it is bowl shaped...wicked reflections
