Hmm, I started this is my first period class and took especially long (about 2 hours) on the texture of the fur. I'm pleased with it. The only thing i don't like are the wings (Yes, that's what they are
). The background was not due to laziness, i just didn't want to distract from her, so i chose a nice soft colour. It's Dead

Love the fur and how you focus the eyes in one direction.... But arent their pupils generally larger than that most of the time, or was that part of the intention?

i didn't really think about the pupil size when i drew it. For your own peace of mind, just think that there's a light shining in her eye..

Amazing! Its so realistic! I just want to pet the fur! *petsies* ^.^My favourite part of this piece is the face. You've captured a sense of elegance in the lines and supreme job of colouring!
If I may gice critisism I beleive a different background colour would have been better. Since its yellow, it not only clashes with blue/black, it stands out where as Dead should have. Perhaps a light green or purple with have done well. Only my opinioin though
