It protects it's trainer with its life and will attack any man or Pokemon that tries to harm them. It's taken its job as it's trainer guard dog very serious but knows when to be lenient when told to.

Due to this many parents have Burnberus as their family pet that works as the children's guard dog /bodyguard but will let the parents punish the children if they were bad.

its ability is (hades) which causes all pokemon on the field with it to get burned. Hades is a battle ability so does not affect/ work during a wild battle.
