Description
Free sanding sculpture stands 2 feet 2 inches by 13 inches wide by 6 inches thick. Constructed from waste polystyrene, cut with a hot wire tool, toothpicks were added to hold sections of foam in place until, a mixture of water flour & white glue was mixed resulting in a thick paste into which strips of discarded news papers dipped and layered over the form than wide sections of cotton fabric were covered in the same mixture and layered over the entire figure mounted on a wood base purchased from Dollar General and left to dry for several days. Entire figure was than hand painted in acrylic paints with a clear spray paint gloss finish for protection. The entire build took from drawings to finished sculpture a little less than a month.
