Bah.Austin and Claire helped a bit as far as C&C went. I was thinking about doing a background for it, but this sorta happened by accident after I messed up by saving it wrong. *shrug* I sort of like the effect, I'll use it again sometime.
Other than that, tear away.

i really really really like it. you probably werent going for this but i imagine him being underwater- even though the background is reddish

cool! yeah the white around the body reminds me of when you go underwater and the hair on your body holds little white bubbles....... yeah

i actually kind of did want him to be aquatic-ish. if he had his mask off, he might look a bit shark-ish. or something.
but yeah, definitely some kind of fish-guy.

The edges are a bit scratchy, you should do something about that IMO and I've seen better backgrounds you've made so why so simple over here...The charecter's cool but the picture's not perfect

because i didn't feel like making a hugely complicated dungeon background, so I went with this instead.. and the scratchiness 'round the edges was very much intended.

Really like how this turned out. I think the gradient made a really good background, it doesn't distract from how spiffy the mask is. And the white effect stuff looks really neat, too. I really like this. Awesome work, Matt.

That is a kickass mask. I like the background effect too, except I agree about the white bit in front of the face. It's too solid and kind of distracting.

i really like it. i kinda think that the little white bit in front of his face needs to go, aor at least be smaller, but other than that it's very much lovely.
