LMAO. I get what you mean and I have speculated this before - but I think his act is intentional and if the show continued it may have happened; especially after the whole leader thing. Omi would have definitely had a relapse after suddenly "accepting" Rai becoming leader. It's an act and Omi is just bidding time for his attack *suspicious*. No one would see it coming whilst he's in the background, waiting (kind of like assassins in movies who smoke in the dark background at night)
