the body is perfect for animations, the topology and loops have been made in a way to make the joint deformations look more natural.
you can sculpt or poly edit the base body mesh to get just about any new body type you wish or just keep it as is
body mesh is a Mid poly count 13,338 quad faces model, and with 1 subdivision you will get a high poly smooth model for your final renders
model doesn't have any textures and only has basic Uvs, for best-texturing results you might want to make your own Uv layout.
