Ok ok, I admit I like some anime once in a while. I'm a big fan of BLEACH and I needed something to mess with so I bugged my roommate to give me various pics from the manga to play with.You know, Tatsuki is really a fascinating character- she has high spirit energy but she is such a minor role in the series... Go figure.
Anyways, the actual picture is from the Manga itself, I used photoshop to do more american style comic book coloring becuase...I like how it looks better. Did a few more lil SFX to it and shit like that.

Nice coloring. Tatsuki is such an under appreciated character. I mean back when they hinted at Ichigo's friends getting some of their powers from being around him, she was my first choice in thinking who'd end up with powers. Oh well...

very nice chris, i think my absolute favorite thing about this whole color job is the blue on tatsuki's face reflecting off of her shirt. freakin beautful amigo. Keep practicing water though it looks a little splochy. i'm not claiming to be an expert on how to color water though. I guess just make it look more ripply like you did the sun's reflection there and i think you've got it. once again good job!
