Hey guys, here is the first in my Power Rangers redesign for a fanfic I’m writing, so no this Ranger is not Tommy but someone different. Which I decide to reflect that in design.

Bio

Name: Dylan Price

Age: 19

Power Coin: Green Dragon

Spouse: Maxy Grant (Yellow Ranger/ 2nd Red Ranger)

Origin: Dylan is a member of the coinless from a different universe where Lord Drakkon never discovered the multiverse until after discovering the dimensional bridge in the ruins of the Command Center. Dylan along with the two other members and his closest friends got the bridge to work and they went to another Earth. Dylan hid from his friends and others he met that he had the Green Dragon Power coin due to knowing the Red Ranger’s hatred towards Drakkon and the powers he possessed. He saved the rangers on multiple occasions without giving away his secret identity until one day he had to when the Yellow Ranger demanded to know who the Green Ranger is, as expected the Red Ranger and Dylan almost fought until Tommy Oliver stopped them. He became a great member to the team and continues to fight against the evil of Drakkon.

Design: This was fun to draw, now will discuss design of this Green Ranger. My original aim was to creat a Ranger with some elements from both the 1990s and 2017 suits, then it turned into this. The helmet is a combo of the top part of the 2017 Red Ranger helmet and the Green Ranger helmet with the teeth actually popping up to the helmet because I thought it would give the helmet some extra flare. Now the pop up piece at the mouthpiece is just a place holder for shading when I actually color this. The dragon shield I took inspiration from Lord Drakkon, he’s my favorite ranger design, and just kept the sharp pieces that jut out on the shield and kept most of the dragon shield intact. I wanted the diamonds on the gloves and boots to be different from the other rangers as well. To basically have one diamond and add a royal flare to the suit when I color it and add the gold. Hopefully you all like the design.
