Do you think it be terribly distressing for a person to finally achieve their idea of perfection? To finally become all that you could ever hope to be... Sounds scary. Where do you go from there?

I don't think you can achieve perfection as long as your environment is changing. If your environment doesn't change, you can evolve to your maximum potential. From there, you just enjoy it then get bored then mentally move on. It would work on the same principle that different levels of wealth do. If you are super poor and don't have water, you can't worry about the implications of the Membraine theory. If you are uber rich and have everything and everything's easy, then you think about things like Membrane theory and the theory of everything.

Yes but we don't have to worry about starving or not being able to pay the rent. It's our parents' responsability so we have the freedom and lack of worries to go ahead and think.

Well, you probably have that freedom, but I actually do worry about the mortgage. It may not be my responsibility, but the fate of my family's finances affects me. I can't exactly ignore it. All the same, I manage to think of all of those things which, I might add, people like Paris Hilton who are rich and free of care, dutifully ignore. I think hardship inspires thought more than leisure does.

I'm reasonably certain that in almost all cases, a person who grew up in luxury is more likely to be an absolute idiot than a person who grew up on the streets fending for his/her self.
