Your thoughts can’t be furled

I don’t want to be
Not like this anymore
So you say, “Here’s the key.”
But there’s nothing forsworn
Cautiously head up the road
In your mind you’ve created
Another secret code
My heart can’t be so outdated
Your bags are packed up
My eyes have been left empty
I’m staring at this full cup
Just wondering why there can’t be
So we’ve come to an end
My fate has never been so crushed
My emotions all blend
Into something now untouched
Hate and disgust consume
My own love overthrown
Perhaps you’ve met your own doom
But I’m not fetching that bone
