Description
This is a painting of my son Ben from when he was about 13 months old. It's actually an example I did for a project I do with my students. I started out with a photo I took of him, digitized it, then used Photoshop CS3 to convert it to black and white then posterize it. From there I drew it out on 16x20" cardboard and used 5 different colors of acrylic to represent the different values to paint it. This is loosely based on the Fauvist style of painting.

(The blue is not that loud in real life, my camera blew it out big time.)
