The colt blinked, his ears moved slightly to the sides before going forward again, this was getting boring - fast. He shifted his hooves and glanced on the one that was doing her best to make him look alert. The twolegged female whose braided hair he had tasted, both nibbling and sucking at wiggled the plastic bag again. He wasn’t scared of that! Pft! Such insult! His mother that stood not that far away however, raised her dainty head and looked at the white bag like it had been something really fascinating, her ears topped and her body alert. His brother mimicked her. Ace snorted. The twolegged had been playing around with that thing for an hour now in this closed up square where you couldn’t see the sky, as well as holding an odd looking thing in front of their faces. Sometimes it had made a ‘click-click-swrr’ sound. He and his brother had raced around the arena, having fun as they bucked, reared and other sort of fun things. Then the two twolegged had taken out two weird contraptions and put them on them. It tickled and when he shook his head there had been some sort of clinking sound under his chin. No matter how much he had shaken his head it hadn’t fallen off. Very weird, but then again, most things the twolegged did was weird, it was simply no way around that fact. They had been putting these on them every now and then, and especially when they were going to the grass filled squares.

Now they had coaxed him up on something else. It didn’t smell like any food, and it didn’t taste like it either. He overheard them say it would look good for a ‘registration photo’, whatever that was. Glancing back he saw that his brother had lowered his head and was dozing off. Macar always got sleepy after eating…just like himself. A gurgle in his own belly let him know that he was hungry, and sighed. The male had just taken a step back after holding that odd ‘in-front-of-face’ thing so the female could look at it. She had laughed and shook her head. Ace lowered his head slightly. It was quite tiresome acting like the big, strong stallion that he was. Another ‘click-click-swrr’, a mumbled ‘magnifique’ from the male and once more the male stepped forward to the woman to show her the thing. She showed her teeth in a smile and nodded. Was it ok now? Then the twolegged looked at eachother and…weirdly enough then bumped their heads together, making a weird noise with their lips. He sighed again. Silly twolegged, why couldn’t they be more like horses so you could understand them better?

Soon thereafter he, his brother and mother, got to go back to the pasture. He took a quick meal at the milk bar before he sprawled out in the green grass at his mother’s feet, back to back with his brother, and promptly fell asleep. It was hard being a model.
