It seems to be working for me.
Have you tried with the latest version of Tampermonkey and Chrome?
You can edit the list of top menu links in your settings page at the "Browsing" tab.

Are you using the latest version of this script then (v0.6) ?
Is tampermonkey displaying that the script should be working? In the tampermonkey overview you can click on the script ("edit") and on the opening editor you can push a button at the top to "reset the script". This might help in case of an corrupted memory storage.

Yes, I use v0.6.
And I've reset script-no efect.
I've deleted and installed once again-no efect.

Hi again!
I found a small bug that happened when no other scripts of mine were run before this one and Tampermonkey was used. Basically a typo in an url. it should now (in v0.61) work in Tampermonkey.

To everybody with Firefox Quantum (newest actualization) - the script works again if you install it with Tapermonkey!

Dediggefedde In reply to UszatyArbuz [2017-11-20 15:52:19 +0000 UTC]

well... to be more precise, it "still" works. I'm not sure how Tampermonkey will react to the changes in Greasemonkey scripts.
I would hope for some kind of backwards-compatibility...

I'm currently at updating my scripts, so they will soon work again in Greasemonkey.
As a side note, most scripts seem to become more lightweight and faster by the update...

It does I just noticed that before reinstalling with Tapermonkey it was more likely to "glitch" and move the menu back on it's original state more often. Now, only when I freshly open the browser I need to wait a bit for something to 'click in' and it doesn't move it at all.

Oh that's nice to header/read I really love your scripts, can't imagine using dA without them

Tanks for the report!
Apparently a long used way to check if settings are existing got obsolete, so new users would get an exception (insid the javascript-console), when they tried to use this script.
Please update to v0.4 and check again if your problem got resolved!

This. Is. Good. !
I've got bookmarks for DA links and other sites related to DA scattered everywhere in FF and always wanted a menu INSIDE DA for all those links. I always wondered why they didn't give us a menu like this. Works perfect! Thank you
I'm still using FF 27 but after I create a restore point and backup my profile I'm going to v.31. If stuff breaks I'll work around it.

Jakeukalane [2014-10-10 12:50:19 +0000 UTC]

Amazing.

One couple of things: the icons don't show in the list, only in the "current selection" and the icons doesn't not change if you add another line (in the preview I mean, when you save them you can see perfectly). However I am not using a updated browser so maybe is the browser's fault. There is no icon for "scraps"

However I circumvent those problems easily and now I have the top links working as desired

Thank you very much

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Dediggefedde In reply to Jakeukalane [2014-10-10 13:06:17 +0000 UTC]

Well... as you can see it works for me^^
When the icons don't show up in the list, I guess they aren't cached correctly.
So, clearing your cache should suffice for this one.
I used the icons from st.deviantart.net/minish/gruze… as they are actually already build into the topmenu... I guess in an emergency, you can settle for a paper-aircraft instead. ^^

However, if you already managed to circumvent these things, that's also fine^^

Jakeukalane In reply to Dediggefedde [2014-10-15 22:02:37 +0000 UTC]

Well. Probably it was a miscomunication for my part.

I will try again:

jakeukalane.deviantart.com/art…

As I don't know the order of the icons, I can choose the one I like.

However, I said before "updated" when I meant outdated XD. Β My browser is really old (Chromium 25), so maybe it was that.Β

It works fine now, suddenly (you can see in the time of the screenshot and in the time of the comment that merely 5 minutes passed.

BTW: The submit to a group script seems to have stopped working.

Thank you very much, you do so much easier our navigation in dA!

Dediggefedde In reply to Jakeukalane [2014-10-16 10:02:31 +0000 UTC]

Thanks for the notice. It still worked, but some art's sites suddenly got a /#/ before the /art/, so it wasn't active there anymore...

rotane [2014-10-10 11:58:42 +0000 UTC]

Works great!

One little thing: Having to navigate to dA's Settings page is nifty and all, but i'd also like to have all GM scripts settings consolidated (if possible) to their own space. Like Tools Menu -> Greasemonkey -> User Script Commands. I know this might interfere with compatibility with other plugins (Tampermonkey and co), but it'd still be nice to have.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Dediggefedde In reply to rotane [2014-10-10 13:33:54 +0000 UTC]

Mmh... well, the problem is how to realize it. After it's not a simple checklist.^^
First solution would be to just link the GM-menu-entry to the settings menu...
Second would be creating a fixed div on the page with the content of the dA-settings-menu-entry...
Or what are you used to do on such occasions?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

rotane In reply to Dediggefedde [2014-10-10 15:19:47 +0000 UTC]

Well, a redirect to the Settings page would be an awesome start. Alternatively, have a modal pop up on whatever dA-page you're on, and have the same options there that you'd inject into the Settings page. Similar to this: fav.me/d78a75k

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Dediggefedde In reply to rotane [2014-10-10 15:47:48 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, that was what I meant. ^^
Well, using a fixed-size settings-dialog is problematic as you can add indefinite link-entries...
Well... scrollbars would fix that but I don't really like that idea... so I made the link to the settings-menu instead^^
It still works in chrome, firefox and opera btw. ^^
