i was messing about with a free AI image generator to see how far i could push it, having not in around a year. i wanted to see if i could make some uncanny deformed elements to cut/edit into my normal work (made in GIMP.)

i was attempting to get an image of Bob painting a picture of the guy standing in the way of a tank in Tiananmen Square in 1989, and this singular result gave me Bob painting Castro (who looks a bit like Bob now,) and preparing to toke a Cuban wrapped blunt. i decided as an exercise to see if i could build an edit AROUND the entire AI output result, significantly altering/editing it enough to feel like my artist's hands had done enough work.

i debated starting a 2nd account for this kind of thing, but i will see if i even want to do more first, so i'm at least putting this one here.

all credit due to Bob Ross, and any camera crew or editor, media creator/producer who filmed him or Castro, the journalist crews at the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre, and especially Bob for his endearing and skilled painting technique upon which the AI was trained.

i guess this is what happens when i set out to make a meme, lul.
