My stairs go all the way from light to dark.I'm not sure if I'm satisfied with this one, might have to rework it or scrap it.. but I think the idea is kinda good.
Nikon D80 with sigma 10-20.

public buildings may often have good stairs too, like hospitals, shopping malls etc.. and then you have the escalators too

Great composition on this one, The emptiness in this picture is nice. Good contrast between the b&w. The only thing which annoys me is the shadow on the right, but that's hard to prevent.

I agree with the shadow-thing.. I guess it could have been done with a remote flash on the lower stairs or something, but I don't have two flashes yet..

stilig, likte idéen veldig godt. Kanskje prøve å få motivet litt meir inn mot midten? Og så lurer eg på korleis det hadde sett ut uten den skyggen på høgre side. Skaff deg ein lyskastar

I think it'll already make a big difference if the white in the picture is just as white as your border
