Description
Parents! I know you have issues when it comes to who your child associates with. But I hate the fact when I talk to an old classmate you say "why do you talk to them, they're family members with this family", or "oh my god you talk to him/her..." and so on.You know what? It's nice to get that feeling of the good 'ol days. HIGHSCHOOL....sigh. I know who I went to school with. I remember their faces because in a way we all grew up together.
I learned with them, past them in the hallways, said "good morning" and "see you tomorrow" to them. I've sat beside them through good times and bad times. I cheered with them during homecoming. Cried with them when we lost one of our own. Danced with them during school dances and yes, prom. I went to school with them....
I know who I graduated with and I wish I knew who they grew up to be. So if I say "hi" or "holy crap! how you been" to my old classmates, don't turn your nose up at them. Let me have my little moment with them asking how they're doing and wishing them luck with their lives. You don't have to know them, because I do.
Wishing the class of 2008, strength, health, wealth, and most of all love. I may not get to talk to you all, but that doesn't mean I don't remember you. ♥
To all who have yet to graduate, reflect on how precious your school years are to you, they have made you into the person you are today.
