"I can't really say my life is all rainbows and butterflies, but each one of these drawings are a part of me.
At a time in my life, I gave them life. Whether I'm mad, sad, happy, or just tuning out the world. I draw, and unconsciously I end up drawing something that shows what I'm thinking or feeling at that moment. Whether it be a sketch or a full painting. As weird as it sounds, they're like my children. But I give them the awful fate of being bound to a flat surface.

However, I know it's a good thing too because it's something for the future to see. This is the life of a 17 year old native girl from New Mexico. This is what I went through, this is me."
