Description
This is a fireball I did for use in pic that has been waiting far too long to be done considering how polished the linework was (well polished for me at least) It's coming soon, with or without a wacom.This was pretty quick about 2 hrs, much credit to ~subcity for his "Dark Book of Photoshop" tutorial

What an unusual way to draw/ paint a fireball, I can safely say I've never seen one like that before. Perhaps adding more glow to it would make it seem more realistic, but I really like the abstract, flowing shapes you've used. I look forward to seeing the complete piece you mentioned. Cheers.

Thanks I decided to go with it because it was going to be a magic fireball. I had originally intended to try to draw realistic fire but after I did this I decied to use it. Nearly all prelim work is done just rendering to go on new piece
