You and me
Whether you lived under water
And I lived on a tree!
Remember the office meetings?
Me and you
Sitting across?
Our not meeting each other
Would’ve been a loss.
I felt that special something
When you walked by.
And I would wait for you
To call me in the room,
We would talk and laugh
And the time would just fly!
Sometimes I just stared
At your eyes
When you explained the brief
The facts just flew above my head,
I was in love with you Chief !
I melted when you touched me
And it made me wonder
Why people think heaven is in
Some place else?
It is in your hands, Mann
Where else?
Don’t doubt, don’t think
Don’t blame yourself.
I’m glad you made it happen for us
Becoz I’d rather give my heart to you
Than keep it on a shelf.
Time, age, people and life
Its all going to end.
So let’s be together Mann
And cherish all the times
We’ve spent.

This is one of the very first poems that I uploaded on the site.......I am so glad you liked it......will upload more again........when I am in a writing mode. I have become quite lazy nowadays.......hope the phase won't last long.
