Description
I had gotten very ill very suddenly about two weeks ago. Only now am I starting to truly feel better both mentally and physically.

Obviously I'm not going to elaborate on anything specific here, but while I was sick I couldn't do much so I ended up sketching on paper again and made this little thing. What's more uplifting about the situation is the comfort I felt about not drawing or writing anything while I was sick. I'd normally get peeved if I didn't write or draw in a few days, but lately I've been able to comfortably put things aside and somehow feel content doing so.

I felt like no matter how long I needed, my projects would be there waiting patiently for me at my bedside, and that gave me a very warm kind of peace.

I'll take my time and work on things when I feel better, but for now, I'm taking a well deserved rest.

Fun story about this though, I messed up a piece and got really mad and threw my sketchbook and it ripped a paper somewhere in the back, so what I decided to do was cover the part I messed up on with some torn paper, and then I just started spreading it around and I think it helped add to the theme of recovery. Funny how accidents can end up pretty cool when you really take the time to open your mind a little.
