My FutureThe mirror in the pond
Shows your world.
It shows what you are
And what you will become
When I look in the mirror
I see 4 white seamless walls
I see myself sitting in a corner,
Rocking back and forth
Wondering where did I go wrong
I look down upon myself,
My body as it is & I see my dreams
In my mind suddenly shatter.
Glancing at my arms
I see blood
Blood, running down
And it finally reaches my palm, my fingertips
Its blood, life’s blood
A calming center I reach
When I watch my life drain from me
The poison of pain and heartache
Trickles out along the cuts
On the floor …
Breath is short …
Room is spinning …
Its bliss
There is no pain
My soul is rising up
Going through the clouds
I find myself at the
Stairways to Heaven
Entering the gates there is a warm glow
And a complete feeling
It rushes through me
My mind soars
Suddenly it all disappears
I am left empty
No thought or feeling goes through my head
It’s just all emptiness
There are four seamless white walls
I sink down, sitting in a corner,
I rock back and forth
And so I shall do for all eternity
