characters Devan (flying demon scout), Alyssa (the clumsy witch), and rich guy with an airship whom i haven't named yet. they're rescuing little Sandshrew looking creatures from an Oogie-boogie-like monster. i seriously... was NOT thinking of Oogie-boogie when i drew this.... T___T

this is a super color pencil piece that i did a while back.... mid 2006 or something like that. it actually won something! i was really surprised.

anyway, every year, i do a single super color pencil piece, and this was it for year 2006. i used a lot of different techniques that i've never thought of, and it really paid off. i love the color mixtures i got and the textures as well. i'm working more on texture these days....
