"Ghost"

An experimental piece, which was part of my exam for college last spring. Featuring two of my images layered; the first was taken in March, during the lambing season. The second, a photograph of the corpse of a sheep which I found on a walk a month later. I thought the contrast of life and death between the two photographs could work well together as a single image. Upon attempting to blend the water and grass I noticed that the opacity of the top layer made the lamb resemble a ghostly quality. It was as though the lamb was the younger, free spirit of the corpse.
