Description
So I got a very constructive critique on this piece here: [link] so I decided to rework it a little. And by a little I obviously mean a lot, because I changed almost everything. I am much happier with this one than the other one, though I think both have their faults and advantages. Might fiddle around with it a little more before I'm done with it, but for now gaaaah.Still , still

I also think the both versions has their own props. The first one looks "honest" and the drawing technique gives off a melancholic/distant feeling. The rough texture and cold hues appeal me, make me feel comfortable for some reason.
The second version on the other hand is clearly more realistic. Warm and smooth colors make the skin look healthy and soft. There's many little details (especially in the shading/lighting) that work perfectly together.
Here we see just how amazing your drawing skills are. The picture developed so much after some criticism. :0

Thank you so much for this lovely comment! I agree what you say about both of them having appeal. Whenever I do something like this, I always tend to overwork it, so it looks almost too perfect. Doing the rough painting, however flawed it was, was very relaxing and freeing. But I am still happy with the more elaborate one. It was really good practice. c:

I didn't notice how much it changed until I had a look on the previous one. I wish I knew how to draw realistic style. TToTT

I wish I could do it better. This is the first time I've ever done something like this. It's so labour intensive. D:
