Oh. Okay then. But it can easily make me confuse those pronouns with the same ones whether we talk about "they/them/their" as in: "multiple people" or we talk about "they/them/their" as if we're talking about only one strangely genderless person or creature. As for me, if I were to make a character without a specific gender (or even a hermaphroditic character), I would have used either of the two pronouns, "he" and/or "she" (mostly when either of them fits their characteristics and/or personalities). But hey, you don't have to take my word for it. It's your art, not mine.

they/them are pronouns used in real life, not just for multiple people, but for people of unspecified gender or people who are not in the gender binary. If you google "define they" the second listed definition is "used to refer to a person of unspecified gender." it is not exclusively for referring to more than one person
