UPDATE [link]This is Regulus from Bomberman 64. He has a really badass character design, and I only wish you could use him in the multiplayer mode, which was fun as hell. Added some wings to his little jet pack. Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to play the sequel, but apparently Regulus is in that too. I'm not sure if he looks the same or what.
10/25/10 - 100 favorites?! Damn. I feel so loved.

One of mine, too! I used to use Regulus as my screen name pretty much everywhere.

It has been mentionned a few times, but Regulus turns into Bulzeeb in The Second Attack. He also renounces his name and title as Regulus to be the Black Breath. He's basically The Second Attack's version of Bass, from Megaman - he wants nothing more than to beat Bomberman in a one on one match.

Very nicely done. Will you be making such images of his allies in the game? Like Artemis, Orion, Altair, etc?
Oh, and in the second game, Regulus takes on a new name. Bulzeeb, having discarded his past name due to his new darker persona and powers. However, once again, he's brought over to the good side in the end and retakes his name. But, he's just one of many characters on the second game.
Bomberman and Pommy are the ones you control in it. Pommy can be controlled by CPU or by the second player, and he evolves as Bombmerman collects different foods for him, his evolution determined by what food you get.
They also have an ally named Lillith that they eventually have to fight due to her becoming possessed by the goddess Mihaele, Lillith being Mihaele's unwilling avatar. Lillith also has the nickname of Scourge of the Spaceways or something.
For the villains of the game(including Bulzeeb), they are:
Baelfael, the Crimson Flame
Behemos, Lord of the Frozen Wastes
Ashtarth, Lord of the Winds
Zhael, Mistress of the Storm
Molok, Lord of the Raging Earth
Zoniha, the Purifying Light
Bulzeeb, the Black Breath (his outfit is slightly upgraded, and with a purple and darker color scheme)
Rukifellth, the Dark Messenger
And Rukifellth is possessed by Sthertoth, the Demon of Darkness, whom seeks to reclaim his true power as the God of Chaos. And the other villains mentioned were once the Elemental Knights, having been brainwashed into becoming Sthertoth's Astral Knights. But, he was unable to brainwash Regulus.... Regulus just pretended to go along so that he could gain enough power to beat his rival, Bomberman.
And there's two endings to the game, based on whether or not you decide to go straight to the ending instead of going to Zoniha's or Bulzeeb's worlds. And during the fight with Mihaele, you can see one of two different scenes, based on if you beat her or if you get hit by her one-hit KO attack.
And the final boss is determined by which ending you get. You face the Demon of Darkness form of Sthertoth either way. If you get the bad ending, you face Sthertoth, God of Chaos. If you get the good ending, you have to face the Angel of Light and Shadow instead.

Regulus is the shit indeed, but I have to say he was a fair bit cooler as Bulzeeb. Sweet drawing.

I finished the first game with this guy. I liked teaming up with him in the final battle, it was fun.

It's nice to see him in another style. He indeed has a badass design, and you even remembed his "bomber"bun on top of his head...nice!

I've got the sequel, yeah, he appears but his name is changed to bulzeeb and he turns black and red, but at the end of the game he revives (he got killed before) and he says his name is Regulus and hopes to fight bomberman once more in another day, also, cool drawing

You sir, are my hero. I LOVE Regulus. He's the sole inspiration for my fictional character (Just look at my avatar). And Regulus actually does have wings on his jet pack, they're just hard to see because they're really thin polygons in the 64 game. You're getting a favorite and a watch just for drawing the anti-hero of my childhood.
The drawing itself is also well done. I take it you used air-brush shading? My only critique is that it's presented on a plain white background, but at that point it's just plain nit-picking.

Yeah Regulus looks the same except in Bomberman 2 he is black instead of blue. He also changed his name to Bulzeeb. But it's definantly Regulus because he mentions events in the first game and looks exactly the same besides a few subtle changes.
