Description
Just south of the automatic interlocking at Chrisman, Illinois, looking north along the old NYC Cairo Branch. Here the line crossed the B&O's line to Springfield, IL. Both lines are now owned by CSX. There has been several different operating scenarios here, currently all trains appear to take the west leg of the wye. No trains have gone north of here since 2005, near as I can tell.

Despite this location being less than an hour away, I rarely have made it over here. And, despite the clear signal, there were no trains anywhere close on these lines. The last time I actually saw a train was when the wyes went in several years ago.
