The old Nippentuck Bridge has seen its golden days pass by decades ago, when it was one of the few crossings of the Brushy Fork Creek. It was rarely upgraded, and usually forgotten about through the years. A flood a decade ago finally closed it to all vehicular traffic, and here its been since.

Kind of a shame, really. You don't see too many wood-deck bridges around these parts anymore.
