Halfway between Chrisman and Paris on the old NYC Egyptian Line sits the little burg of Horace. Not much goes on here, unless it's Sunday and the church is packed. But during harvest season, things are really booming. The elevator recently expanded, and becomes a microcosm of activity with grain trucks and semis in a almost constant stream.

But here we are in one of the calmer moments. The only noise from the switcher and the birds in the trees. Soon however, the fleets of trucks will return to deliver this year's bounty for shipment across the country.
