It’s been several years since the Supercomputer was shut down for good, destroying Xana and the world of Lyoko. Jeremie Belpois, Ulrich Stern, Yumi Ishiyama, Odd Della Robbia, and Aelita Schaeffer were finally able to lead daily lives staying in contact with each other. Unfortunately for William Dunbar, the gang simply broke off from him, unable to really forgive and forget after what Xana pulled.

By the time they all graduated and went off to college, they already knew what careers they had in mind, although Ulrich had a tough time deciding. It didn’t take long for either to graduate, all fulfilling a career choice. However, this peace was not about to last very long.

One night, the Men in Black located where each one of the gang lives. They know the Supercomputer was only shut down, but not completely gone. One MiB had located the Factory where the Supercomputer is. His mission was to retrieve information on Project Carthage, something they had failed to do many years ago. The MiB wanted this knowledge for the sole purpose of blocking enemy communications in order to put any war to rest. But not surprisingly, they made a fatal mistake. When the agent had accidentally restored the Supercomputer, it re-awoke Xana. Although the computer virus wanted greatly to kill the agent, he soon gained an idea. Like he used to do before, he jumps out as a specter and possesses the agent with little effort.

The possessed agent returns to base, and once back, Xana quickly posseses all the agents within the room now having full knowledge of where the Lyoko Warriors are. They live within Paris, France, although they are greatly spaced out. Xana doesn’t care. He uses the agents to go to their homes and abduct them; of course he is careful this time, having used some chloroform to make sure they stay unconscious.

Back at the factory, three of the five Lyoko Warriors are placed within the now working Scanners; one is left up against a wall until one Scanner opens up. Jeremie is the only one placed within the old computer chair in front of the screens, and the Holomap slowly but surely reforms itself, displaying all the five Sectors: Forest, Polar, Desert, Mountain, and Carthage (Sector 5). Jeremie wakes up becoming filled with shock as he gazes upon the computer and the Holomap. At first he thinks it’s a dream until he sees one of the possessed MiB next to him. The sunglasses fall slightly forward revealing the Eye of Xana.

“…Xana…” Jeremie speaks, “How are you still alive?”

Xana replies, the voice all messed up, “Foolish human. You thought shutting down the Supercomputer was enough to get rid of me? You forget, I’m always ten steps ahead, and this time, I made sure I made no mistakes.”

“Your mistake is being back here. I can easily launch a Time Reversion and send you back!”

“Not this time!” Xana yells taking a fake swat at Jeremie, “I’ve made sure the Time Reversion was fully disabled. You’d need a whole new code to restore it, as well as your friends.”

The computer shows the Materializations of the other four, and they arrive in Lyoko in the Forest Sector still unconscious. Then, Xana quickly types in a code that disables any Dematerializations, effectively keeping the Lyoko Warriors permanently in Lyoko, just like Aelita was before. Jeremie tries to stop him from completing the code, but Xana easily overpowers him , throwing him against a wall, and the code is complete. It has been reset to the point where a new Program would have to be made in order to bring them back.

Furious, Jeremie rips some cables from the ground and dashes at Xana ready to thrust the cables like a knife. However, Xana catches him and turns the cables against him, sending high voltage throughout his body. Jeremie collapses, but Xana catches him from hitting the ground. Having achieved part of his new goal, he throws Jeremie over his shoulder and carries him to the elevator.

Outside Kadic Academy, Xana dumps Jeremie’s body on the ground and gets the agents back to base, where he leaves their bodies to return to the virtual world. His power was so overwhelming that all the agents had passed out where they stood.

On Lyoko, the gang starts to wake up feeling weak. When they finally realize where they are they scream nearly jumping out of their skins. Odd had found himself in a similar “cat suit” to what he had before only without the little Kiwi image on his chest. The new suit was still purple, but had rose-colored cheetah spots all along his arms, his sides, and just curling around his legs. The cat ears he donned before are still there along with the tail, also covered in spots. On his chest is a white patch of fur, and his face markings made him look like he has whiskers.

Ulrich’s outfit didn’t appear to change very much, keeping the black and yellow coloring. This time around, his headband is now a yellow scouter that flips down when needed. His sword is still his main weapon only now two exist and are mounted on his back in an “X” shape. He has gained a sort of black utility belt with two “grenades” and a hookshot. Yumi’s started to mimic her geisha outfit only slightly. Instead of just a “jumpsuit” it has been retouched having gained a kind of “bullet-proof vest”. Around her waist is a short deep blue sarong with sakura flowers decorating it that parted on her right thigh; a bow keeps it tied. Aelita, however, had the same outfit from years ago, only with an actual pink flowing thigh-length skirt instead of the transparent one.

“Wha…What the hell are we doing back here?!” Odd freaks, accidentally firing off a couple Laser Arrows into the air.

“There can only be one explanation: Xana!” Ulrich says gaining a serious tone.

Aelita asks, “But how can that be? We shut down the Supercomputer!”

Yumi states looking around, “Well someone rang a bell in his ear.”

“No, no no no!” Odd continues to freak, “This can’t be! How am I supposed to take care of Kiwi now?!”

“That mutt is still alive?” Ulrich asks.

Odd fires back, “For your information Kiwi has been through surgery a few days ago for his luxating patella. But I guess you didn’t get that text like all the others, huh?”

“Well excuse me for being busy with a real job!” Ulrich argues.

“Enough!” Aelita shouts stopping the boys. “Is this how we’re to reunite? By arguing? We have a more important issue on our hands right now!”

Without hesitation Yumi adds, “Aelita’s right. Odd, I know Kiwi’s very important to you now that he’s starting to get on in years, but if you want to see him again, we need to get out of here.”

Aelita suddenly says, “You guys! I can’t contact Jeremy!”

“You’re kidding!” Ulrich says.

“No. He’s not at the computer, not at his laptop, or answering either house or cell phone. Something’s wrong!” Aelita panics.

As Yumi tries to console Aelita, Odd and Ulrich set aside their argument in order to figure out where Jeremy could be. For now, Yumi suggests remaining in one of the nearby towers until they can figure out what to do. But as soon as they enter the tower, Aelita levitates up to the top level and activates the interface able to connect to various news sites. Apparently a few hours had passed and Jeremy was found just outside Kadic Academy. The media goes on to say that he is in a coma and is now in a hospital. What’s even worse, since she is no longer in the real world, she is unable to say what the doctors can do. That’s when the others remember that Aelita became Mrs. Belpois.

Although her emotions start to affect her, Aelita puts them aside in order to think. She gets an idea and has the others create their own help messages to spread around the world to see who will respond. Unknown to her, Xana is already a step ahead, hacking the airport’s files and creating plane tickets for five other unlucky people. Odd creates a fake message for his co-worker to look after Kiwi for a little while until he returns from a trip to England. When the messages are complete, Aelita sends them out to any and all available wireless devices.

For a few days, the cries for help are treated as spam mail. The plane tickets Xana had sent out arrive at their destinations, and sadly the five that received them are now boarding planes to head for Paris, France. Once they all ariive in France, they are shocked to discover each other within the lobby while waiting for their luggage.

The shortest one is female and dressed in a black fitting spandex-like tank top with an ankle-length leopard print skirt and black booties. Her hair is also short, black with red streaks, and pointed back. She also wears a chocker necklace with a pendant that spells her name with red rhinestones: “Ryuu”.

The others are taller than her and are all male. One wears a simple umber colored dress button-up shirt with a rose embroided on it with a leafy stem that stretches to the bottom of the shirt. He also wears black corduroy pants and black shoes. His hair is long and flowing with part of it covering his face. Ryuu recognizes him from his “anime-self” drawing as Geo.

The next one to be recognized is the one she’s been calling “big brother” for a few years now. His hair is short but thick, and just shapes around his face. He wears a grey colored hooded sweatshirt with the hood down, a white shirt underneath. Grey baggy shorts is his choice for pants as brown sandals stay well attached to his feet. Ryuu looks at Simon unimpressed with a look saying “you couldn’t have found something nicer?”

The third one she knew off the bat as Drew. His hair is blonde and just starting to grow back out. His choice of clothing was a red-colored Bleach-themed shirt with Ichigo Kurosaki in a fighting stance in his Bankai state. His choice for pants are loose-fitting denim jeans followed by white sneakers. He shrugs when who he calls his “big sister” shoots him the same look but with a smirk, making Simon ask why he got a glare.

The last boy Ryuu didn’t recognize. Drew introduces him to the group announcing his name is Gary and his best friend. His hair is short and dark brown, wearing a hat that resembles something from Pokemon. Gary has a pair of glasses that he fixes making the sun quickly reflect off them. As for clothing, he wears a red shirt with a brown jacket left open. A blue pair of fitting denim jeans is followed by grey sneakers, making his outfit more decent than Simon’s and Drew’s. Simon notices one of his bags go by on the conveyer belt and quickly grabs it. The others soon follow suit as their bags start to circulate through.

Once outside the airport, they're easily confused as to where they need to go. Ryuu looks around and spots what seems like a café and leads the boys over while nearly dodging busy traffic. Huge mistake on her part for still trying to recover from her terrifying flight.

They settle down and start to talk to one another having now met each other for the first time in real life. Ryuu and Simon are easily the oldest of the group with them being 22 and 23 respectively. Gary and Drew are 15 while Geo is 16. The only sad part here is even Ryuu’s youthful appearance tricks the waiters here as well as they don’t offer her a drink-drink, but offer Simon and Geo drinks; with Geo’s long hair he looks of age. She made a vow to never drink or do drugs, but would like the offer anyway. As they place in their orders for drinks with the youngest settling for sodas, Geo picking iced tea, Ryuu green tea, and Simon coffee, their wireless devices go off.

Each one answers their cell phones, save for Drew who responds to his 3DS; Gary reveals Drew let his cell die during the flight. And each cell phone was greeted with similar messages:
Please help us! This may sound strange, but we’re trapped in a virtual world and can’t escape! We’re being held hostage at a Factory across from the Kadic Academy!

“Whoa okay, that’s some strange spam text.” Gary says.

Drew ignores the fact it’s a cry for help instead asking, “How did this even get on my 3DS?”

“Guys, this doesn’t seem strange to you?” Ryuu asks.

Simon agrees, “Come to think of it, Kadic sounds familiar.”

“You don’t think…that Code Lyoko is real, do you?” Geo asks.

Before any of them could pass it off as messed up spam text, an image of one Lyoko Warrior appears on their devices; Aelita on Gary’s, Yumi on Geo’s, a ghostly image of Jeremie on Simon’s, Ulrich on Drew’s, and Odd on Ryuu’s. This causes Ryuu and Drew to freak out comically with both of them falling backwards still in their seats. Geo tries to catch her cell phone but fails as it hits the ground, the protective case keeping it from breaking, while Gary flops the 3DS with Simon reacting quickly to catch it. Gary helps his friend back up while Geo helps his “sister” back up.

“Wow, didn’t expect that kind of reaction.” Ulrich says rubbing the back of his head.

“It shouldn’t be surprising. We did appear without warning.” Odd says.

Ryuu says fixing her skirt, “At least I know my suspicion was right…ugh, my back hurts worser than my head.”

“Wait, how is this even happening?” Gary questions as Simon hands back the 3DS to Drew who says, “I don’t care as long as this guy doesn’t mess with my Lucario!”

Ulrich crosses his arms and looks at Drew with frustration, “Jeez, you’re just like Odd! Why would I mess with your game?”

Geo quickly says, “Okay cool it. You’re Yumi, correct? Can you explain all of this?”

Aelita is the one to explain the situation. She tells the group that all of them were abducted from their homes by the Men in Black, the same ones that wanted Project Carthage while Franz Hopper was still creating it and Xana. They failed before, and thanks to their adamant nature, royally messed things up this time. She has a strong feeling that when they restarted the Supercomputer that Xana took control of them and shoved all but Jeremie into the Scanners, Virtualizing them permanently onto Lyoko. They know Jeremie is now in a hospital under a coma, but Aelita says that she was able to hack into the electrical systems of the hospital and bring about her husband’s consciousness, turning that into a specter. The only drawback is that even in this ghostly form he is unable to control the Supercomputer. This in turn also means they have no clue where any activated tower is unless it’s in the Forest Sector, and given their situation, it’s too dangerous to go look. She goes on to say that Xana was the one that sent the group those plane tickets for a free vacation in France, but she found out they were one-way tickets, and she couldn’t prevent them from being sent.

Ryuu happily says, “Good thing my Big Brother’s here then; he’s the most tech savvy one here!”

Odd asks, “Wait, which one is your big brother? They’re all bigger than you.”

Jeremie saves Ryuu from her smashing her own phone out of anger by answering, “I believe this one is her big brother, Odd. Be careful next time; you used to be short once.”

Yumi jokes, “But he’s still shorter than us now.”

“HEY! I got taller! I’m 5’04” now!” Odd defends.

Ulrich states, “Yumi’s 5’07”, I’m 5’10”, Jeremie and Aelita are 5’05”. You’re still the shortest.”

Ryuu growls, “Don’t feel too bad…” a slight insane tone suddenly growing, “I’m only 5’00”, but if anyone pulls a f*cking short joke including Xana, they’ll wish they’ve never been born!”

“You like using Outrage, don’t you?” Drew teases.

“Want me to use it on you?” Ryuu growls.

Geo interjects, “Guys, c’mon…” he looks at Yumi, “By the way, Aelita mentioned Xana sent us these tickets. I’m surprised he didn’t get us a taxi.”

Jeremie replies, “Don’t worry about that. Now that you’re here and we know who you guys are, I’ve already called for a taxi. They’ll be bringing you to Odd’s Manor.”

“Odd has a manor?” the new gang asks.

“Yup.” Odd proudly responds. “Took me a year to grab it. But there’s a few reasons why you’re going to my place. One, it has a few spare rooms that you guys can use. Two, it’s closest to Kadic Academy, therefore it’s closest to the Factory. And three, someone needs to look after Kiwi!”

“Kiwi?” Gary asks.

Ryuu answers, “That’s his dog. Hey I’ll gladly look after him. But what’s going on?”

“Kiwi’s recovering from his recent surgery for his luxating patella in his right hind leg. And I just discovered a few hours ago that my co-worker refuses to look after him any further.” Odd answers almost letting his emotions get the better of him.

Yumi growls, “Are you serious? Why didn’t you say anything? Oh if we were able to leave Lyoko right now, I’d clobber him!”

“Consider it done.” Ryuu says.

Just then a black Citroen DS3 with a yellow and white checkerboard pattern going across its sides pulls up. Jeremie announces that it’s the taxi he had called to pick up the group. The driver steps out asking for the Della Robbia Group. Ryuu is first to raise her hand indicating they are the group. With their luggage soon loaded, they hop in and the compact it heads for Odd’s Manor.

Little did they know, a Men in Black Agent was watching.

Drew ignores the fact it’s a cry for help instead asking, “How did this even get on my 3DS?”

“Guys, this doesn’t seem strange to you?” Ryuu asks.

Simon agrees, “Come to think of it, Kadic sounds familiar.”

“You don’t think…that Code Lyoko is real, do you?” Geo asks.

Before any of them could pass it off as messed up spam text, an image of one Lyoko Warrior appears on their devices; Aelita on Gary’s, Yumi on Geo’s, a ghostly image of Jeremie on Simon’s, Ulrich on Drew’s, and Odd on Ryuu’s. This causes Ryuu and Drew to freak out comically with both of them falling backwards still in their seats. Geo tries to catch her cell phone but fails as it hits the ground, the protective case keeping it from breaking, while Gary flops the 3DS with Simon reacting quickly to catch it. Gary helps his friend back up while Geo helps his “sister” back up.

“Wow, didn’t expect that kind of reaction.” Ulrich says rubbing the back of his head.

“It shouldn’t be surprising. We did appear without warning.” Odd says.

Ryuu says fixing her skirt, “At least I know my suspicion was right…ugh, my back hurts worser than my head.”

“Wait, how is this even happening?” Gary questions as Simon hands back the 3DS to Drew who says, “I don’t care as long as this guy doesn’t mess with my Lucario!”

Ulrich crosses his arms and looks at Drew with frustration, “Jeez, you’re just like Odd! Why would I mess with your game?”

Geo quickly says, “Okay cool it. You’re Yumi, correct? Can you explain all of this?”

Aelita is the one to explain the situation. She tells the group that all of them were abducted from their homes by the Men in Black, the same ones that wanted Project Carthage while Franz Hopper was still creating it and Xana. They failed before, and thanks to their adamant nature, royally messed things up this time. She has a strong feeling that when they restarted the Supercomputer that Xana took control of them and shoved all but Jeremie into the Scanners, Virtualizing them permanently onto Lyoko. They know Jeremie is now in a hospital under a coma, but Aelita says that she was able to hack into the electrical systems of the hospital and bring about her husband’s consciousness, turning that into a specter. The only drawback is that even in this ghostly form he is unable to control the Supercomputer. This in turn also means they have no clue where any activated tower is unless it’s in the Forest Sector, and given their situation, it’s too dangerous to go look. She goes on to say that Xana was the one that sent the group those plane tickets for a free vacation in France, but she found out they were one-way tickets, and she couldn’t prevent them from being sent.

Ryuu happily says, “Good thing my Big Brother’s here then; he’s the most tech savvy one here!”

Odd asks, “Wait, which one is your big brother? They’re all bigger than you.”

Jeremie saves Ryuu from her smashing her own phone out of anger by answering, “I believe this one is her big brother, Odd. Be careful next time; you used to be short once.”

Yumi jokes, “But he’s still shorter than us now.”

“HEY! I got taller! I’m 5’04” now!” Odd defends.

Ulrich states, “Yumi’s 5’07”, I’m 5’10”, Jeremie and Aelita are 5’05”. You’re still the shortest.”

Ryuu growls, “Don’t feel too bad…” a slight insane tone suddenly growing, “I’m only 5’00”, but if anyone pulls a f*cking short joke including Xana, they’ll wish they’ve never been born!”

“You like using Outrage, don’t you?” Drew teases.

“Want me to use it on you?” Ryuu growls.

Geo interjects, “Guys, c’mon…” he looks at Yumi, “By the way, Aelita mentioned Xana sent us these tickets. I’m surprised he didn’t get us a taxi.”

Jeremie replies, “Don’t worry about that. Now that you’re here and we know who you guys are, I’ve already called for a taxi. They’ll be bringing you to Odd’s Manor.”

“Odd has a manor?” the new gang asks.

“Yup.” Odd proudly responds. “Took me a year to grab it. But there’s a few reasons why you’re going to my place. One, it has a few spare rooms that you guys can use. Two, it’s closest to Kadic Academy, therefore it’s closest to the Factory. And three, someone needs to look after Kiwi!”

“Kiwi?” Gary asks.

Ryuu answers, “That’s his dog. Hey I’ll gladly look after him. But what’s going on?”

“Kiwi’s recovering from his recent surgery for his luxating patella in his right hind leg. And I just discovered a few hours ago that my co-worker refuses to look after him any further.” Odd answers almost letting his emotions get the better of him.

Yumi growls, “Are you serious? Why didn’t you say anything? Oh if we were able to leave Lyoko right now, I’d clobber him!”

“Consider it done.” Ryuu says.

Just then a black Citroen DS3 with a yellow and white checkerboard pattern going across its sides pulls up. Jeremie announces that it’s the taxi he had called to pick up the group. The driver steps out asking for the Della Robbia Group. Ryuu is first to raise her hand indicating they are the group. With their luggage soon loaded, they hop in and the compact it heads for Odd’s Manor.

Little did they know, a Men in Black Agent was watching.
