Screenshot www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhWbtx…Okay to start, I was never big into superheores growing up. Yeah I watched the old Batman Cartoon, watched a few of the newer ones, yadda yadda yadda. Love the Dark Knight, and Dark Knight Rises wasn't bad (I don't know a lot about Bane but Dad told me he was a vicious bastard; this version was a thinker which is also really cool with the way they did it, he wanted something and he got it). Absolutely love the Joker (no one can replace Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger).
Spiderman was....eh, was never quite into him either, lol. I saw the first Spidy Movie so many times I lost interest. But I love Venom. Great design, psychotic...he's just cool. "DOCTOR OCTOGANAPUS BLAAAARGH!"
Superman I never really followed and (I'm gonna get shot) He's kind of a Gary-Sue isn't he? Fairly immortal, immune to bullets, strong enough to lift the universe....but weak only, ONLY to Kryptonite. Yet he can get his ass handed to him and come back good as new (this is my general knowledge so yeah). And he has so many movies, wtf?
Green Lanturn I like. Again, didn't follow either (only knew the black one from the Justice League), but Ryan Rynalds did good for his part in the movie. I like that the ring is the weapon, shield, and power source and runs off of a courage (although a tad limited on its own and needs to refuel). You can create anything with that thing and have a literal blast.
Wonder Woman...I know nothing. "HULK MAD! HULK SMASH!" Captain America...Well, I guess I'm not patriotic. The X-men, gave that cartoon a go, liked the blue guy, then fell out of it. Iron Man....hmm...cannot beat a Reploid, sorry.
So my Super Hero background is limited and Anime filled that void, having characters that can beat half these guys into the ground (proven only in games so far, such as my newly obtained Marvel vs Capcom 3). But, there's one I've seen running around in cosplay and in the game that I only recently started liking because he made me laugh when I beat his ass against a friend.
DEADPOOL. I had no idea who the f*ck this guy was until recently. And that link there? Holy shit, screw the movie, just give me his cutscenes! This guy is hilarious! He's not all serious and goal-driven like the others, which is such a refreshing change! Yeah we have Tony Stark/Iron Man and the Joker, but how can anyone resist the brilliance that is Deadpool? Not to mention he's an Anti-Hero, and we need more of those. The best part, he acts just as random as an anime character and kinda has qualities that remind me strongly of Kakashi Hatake, so he gets more points there. He can also weild swords and guns and regenerate, even if he has to put his body parts back together to do so. He's so random ("What? Babies freak me out!") that he pretty much crosses into Anime Territory. I read about him on Wikipedia so although he is almost immortal, he can still be killed. He's also messed up in the head too (I can sympathize) which makes him even more awesome.

He really doesn't put up with anything. In Marvel vs Capcom (I think), he breaks the 4th wall about a good 90% of the time. He takes one of his gauge bars and beats his opponent with it.

Superheroes are pretty cool. Sometimes relatable, sometimes inspiring. I'm all for that jazz. BUT sometimes heroes only need to be pure, raw, unadulterated fun! Just like Mr. Wade Wilson here! Why the hell would anyone dislike him I'll never know.
Unlike most anime characters (not all of them), Deadpool is actually amusing. And unlike dear ol' Kakashi, Deadpool has landed more chicks than he has. When you have infatuated the cosmic entity that represents death while being married to a vampire, you know you're a hit with the ladies!

Maybe the haters can't comprehend the awesome Deadpool is. Heck he breaks the fourth wall too in the games (taking his health bar and smacking his foes with it; now THAT takes skill XD).
I will agree most anime chars have similar generic backstories and others are just like "why does this thing exist?". I still don't know a whole lot about Deadpool (the game's a bitch and won't let me switch controls so I can play it), but he's just awesome. Although thanks to Blue Exorcist, I've encountered more amusing characters, and Mephisto takes first place there XD

Good to see there are at least a few great anime shows. Even though I still enjoy anime to a certain extent, I'll still be an avid Marvelite.
Hell, the game is pretty fun! If you wanna see Deadpool's true awesomeness, go watch Deadpool VS Deathstroke Death Battle or read "Deadpool kills the Marvel Universe", where he does exactly that AND kills two of his writers!

Oh yeah, there's a good few ones that are really good. Though I'd watch Blue Exorcist up to Episode 17 or 18; the rest is all filler and non-canon. Kinda pulled an FMA '03 because the manga didn't end yet. Death Note's a good one if you like things that get really involved.
The game is fun! But because the camera was set a certain way, I can't play it without aiming all over the screen. And when I tried switching it, nothing happened. Ah yes, I still need to watch that! Deadpool kills the Marvel Universe? Never heard of that *has never read the comics*.

Well, manga are usually much better than anime. Though Death Note is an absolute masterpiece in every sense of the word and remains one of my all-time favorites.
Don't worry, I've never read it either, but I do know a few things. A Deadpool from an alternate universe somehow stops being fun,crazy and childish and becomes evil-insane. He starts to use the full extent of his intellect to kill supergeroes, supervillains, gods and cosmic entities frothe entire Marvel universe. Spidey, Hulk, the Fantastic Four, Doctor Strange, Thor, Galactus, EVERYONE dies. Hell, even Wolverine died at that Deadpool's hands. After killing all the heavy hitters of Marvel, that Deadpool begins a rampage across the multiverse. He kills two of his writers and one of his comic book fans, stating that NO ONE is safe. Then he arrives on the Marvel Universe we know. He is now known as Dreadpool and he seeks to kill ALL the other Deadpools across the multi-verse. But he is killed by the the real Deadpool, the one we know and love. Bascically, it's a massive "SCREW YOU!" to the comic book readers that keep complaining about lack of gore in comics and a taste of Deadpool's real skill and tactical prowess. After all of that, our Deadpool takes a neat trophy from Dreadpool: a sword made out of Carbonadium, an alloy that completely nullifies healing factors.

Yeah, usually; I've only ever really seen the anime before the manga, so it's like "crap, I just got used to one story, now I have to adjust to how it's really told". Death Note I liked better Dubbed because it was less monotone and given more emotion than the subbed/original version. Though the Live Action Movie is really good.
Hahaha, maybe every creator should do that with their series! Just make a total "middle finger" to the fans that complain about everything. Naruto's creator should do that to those who didn't like how it ended without waiting for the final movie to come out that explains everything. Just have Naruto verbally rip shit, lol.

That series was good. But I had two problems wioth it. First, there were so many characters that there was no way of an accurate depiction. Second, pretty much no-one in there is a REAL ninja (except Kakashi, because rule of cool). Ninjas use actual stealth tactics, wear masks and wear clothes that do not draw attention, unlike ORANGE JUMPSUITS! I mean, really? Even Deadpool uses better stealth than some of these guys, which is sad. Though it certainly had it's moments.
