My entry for the #RadicalRacerOCC contest, Artemis.

Character:

Artemis is a mysterious, determined and cunning racer, and will always find a way to win. From using her Special Trick, to utilizing her vehicle.

Transportation:
The large outer shell portion of the vehicle is used as a distraction to other racers, and can be psychedelic. The material of the "shell" is strong enough to withstand impacts from other vehicles, and is used to smash into other racers on the road. The body of the vehicle is both mechanical and organic. The handles can be detached/moved to another position for different driving modes if needed. There is a compartment on the underside of the vehicle, located between the two back fins that holds her Special Trick.

Lucky Charm:
The Lucky Bag is a special hand-stitched memoir passed down from her family, and used to store her important items. Despite it being with her for as long as anyone can remember, it has always looks pristine and well cared for. She is never seen without it.

Special Trick:
EMP (electromagnetic pulse) and explosives. Stored on the bottom of the vehicle, they are released from a hatch and drop on the race track, and activate once planted. EMP affects electrical vehicles, and the explosives take care of everything else. They are purposely designed to blend into the environment and highly effective on dirt roads as the dirt and dust covers them. She may carry one or two in her Lucky Bag to throw near other vehicles as she passes by.

Here's something completely different than what I normally do. I also happen to be a huge fan of seashells, and disappointed that they're hardly used as an aesthetic in concepts. They have so much potential design-wise xD This piece didn't come out quite how I imagined it as I wanted to do more seashell/bioorganic body on the vehicle, but it's pretty close.

And I've always loved the name Artemis, even though this character design doesn't match the name. I just found it fitting and catchy xD

Writing isn't my strong point, so I hope what I have can get the ideas across.
