There was a warm weather outside.
Nightshade had just woke up from his slumber, he stood up slowly and streched up , he groomed his fur clean and straight
before padding out of the apprentices den to lay down under the sun light
Palestone sat in the camp quietly. He groomed his fur, picking out extra pieces of moss from his nest.
"Why does moss have to taste so dry and bad?" Palestone murmured to himself.
Nightshade purred at the weather, he stayed in the shade to prevent
himself from over heating, he kept himself awake since it was easy for him to randomly fall asleep
The deputy should be calling patrols soon, Palestone thought. He looked around the camp, trying to see if the deputy was anywhere to be seen. Palestone really felt like hunting.
Nightshade's eyes open as he felt his belly growl, he noticed the fresh
kill pile was empty, the black and white tom stood up and stretched
heading towards the camp exit
The deputy announced the hunting patrol, and Palestone just happened to be on it. He smiled lightly, heading for the camp exit, but he managed to bump into someone.
"Oof! I-I'm sorry! I didn't see you there!"
"oh, i-its okay, that happens" the spotted warrior mewed shyly at the
calico tom "W-where does he want us to hunt at?" he asked slowly starting to calm down more and more
"Uh... I- uh.. I think he said near the river? I'm not really sure..," He chuckled lightly, staring down at his paws. "Should we g-go then? I don't think we should keep t-the patrol waiting."
Nightshade nodded and began walking towards the river
looking back to check if his new fellow warrior was following him
