Watching Larry King live last night and there was this arrogant christian that my mom listens to every morning on her radio speaking on there. He was stating that gays didn't want marriage, they wanted to break things up and was totally treating them unfairly beyond reasonable opinion. This got me thinking that we need someone gay in the white house (male or female) as president so that we could at least have a high standing minority in the office.anyways, I created this picture to represent my wants.

Some jokes aren't really.
Its like the slang of "Oh that's gay" said by some when they mean something is stupid. Course when someone said that I'd say, "Oh that's so hetero." in turn, and they'd stop. Once in a while turnabout is fair play when you want to show someone how something can hurt someone.

sorry about the joke, really. it just reminded me of history class (the woman president thing), cuz woman weren't people until like, the 1900's or something.. hee hee..
I think Canada (whee! Canada! YAY!) had a female prime minister... maybe not... my old teacher told me that... he was crazy though.... so I have doubts..

They weren't considered able to vote until 1900's and that's when the sufference movement began. Course before then, it was the african americans that weren't considered to be anything but property until the civil war started. So that meant until the 1900's if you were african american and woman you were screwed. Still was seen that way until Martin Luther King Jr as well as the other civil rights leaders put things in motion.
Course, just because someone has a dick doesn't always make them a human.
Humans are humans. Just like what MiB voice. A person is intellegent. People are idiots. or something like that.
And women can be a rather powerful people in a collective.

Our Prime Minister (in Australia) has decided that gays shouldn't be allowed to marry because it would adversly affect "our survival chances". Apparently nearly 7-8 billion people on the planet isn't enough for him. Some cartoons should never be elected.

The interesting thing is this..
When you look at the gay community (strictly gay men, and lesbian women), you've got 15% of the American population right there..and that's just the people over 18 who've come out of the closet and noted their sexuality on a survey. So there's probably around another 5% that're under the age of 18, or aren't know to the staticians. So we're looking at around 20% maybe.
Just chancing a guess, but the percentage of bisexuals in America today is probably around the same range, if not even higher--say around 25%..
Pretty damn big "minority" if you ask me.
Though maybe, just maybe the article I read where I gathered that 15% stat also included bisexuals..I'll have to try and find it again to be sure..but I'm pretty sure it didn't.
As for Christians..I'd chance a bet that only about 5% of them (all of which are probably gay, lesbian, or bisexual to begin with ;P) are real TRUE Christians.. IE: They accept that there are people out there who don't follow their stringent moral guidelines. They'll teach these people their guidelines if they ask to be taught, but don't push them on them if they don't ask. They don't try to enforce their morals on others who aren't in their religion. And while they may not agree with what they see others doing, if they aren't harming anybody but themselves, they turn the other cheek. They also follow the two sides of that phrase. If they see something they don't like, they turn their cheek to it and move on; if they're struck in the cheek, they turn their cheek back to the one that struck them with a smile and try to rectify the problems without resorting to violence or judgement that's reserved for their God to deal out.
Personally I'd love to see a woman in the Whitehouse as president. Though I, in some ways, wouldn't mind our current Vice Prez filling in for George Dubuhyuh Jr... His daughter's either lesbian or bisexual after all, I'm sure he'd have something to say about bills or amendments to the constitution that would take away gay and lesbian rights.
I mean..what's next after them? Telling left-handed people they can't marry? Taking away women's rights again because women are responsible for the original sin in the Christian bible?

Everyone's entitled to their opinions, but when those opinions turn into simple biased insults, it gets wrong. Unfortunately, those sorts are encouraged by frequently being put on talkshows. In any case, nice little quickie-pic, good stuff.
