Description
I don't work in charcoal that often, I wish I worked in it more than I do, but I don't get the urge to do so that often. It is also only a sketch, done in less than 15 min.The angel has fallen upon his knees, darkness underneath as the wings are extended upwards ever so slightly. Yes I know there's a tail, seems like another totem is found.
The picture is owned and copyrighted by myself, rae naomi turner.

I like it
I love it
I want some more of it!
This is really nice and expressive, perhaps if you varied the values [light/dark] a little more then it would be even moreso, but it is nice as it is! :3

Thanks. I was very rusty...it had been two years since I had lifted charcoal up to actually do anything with it...and was only 15 min of work.
I'll try and do a little more varience in my next pieces since I remember how much fun it is.
thanks tanika

Very nice. I like the soft tone that the medium puts in it, that kind of gentle blend through the whole thing; and you still managed to get pretty good shading in there. The wing design is rather interesting... though one has to wonder why he's on his knees; he has a sort of defeated look to him...

thanks. when using charcoal it is so easy to just blend things all over the place, and one would have to use surgical gloves while online and doing a picture in that medium.
