i know but that is susally means that people can't redesign them (well not out of the rules u made)..my species are closed to. I know what it means

Nope...and not jus me saying it,i saw this all the people who have closed species that they made give aways time to time. having a closed specie is like having a dog breed..as long as people don't steal it or try to change it(at least not without your permission) then u are free to give or sell...But since this is art,do what u want with them,they are your beauties

A copy-paste (albeit slightly edited) of a reply I made in response to a similar question:
"Unfortunately these guys will never be open for adoption again (due in no small part to their failed adoptions years ago) and are instead reserved only for the rare gift to people I trust not to bastardize them.
I fear that with their up-coming redesign I will have old adoption winners trying to reclaim their neglected Striders, the majority of which I revoked via journal years ago.
Its not just the Striders either, for a while now I have noticed an unsettling trend with massively popular species both open and limited (not that my species have been popular and, frankly im glad they aren't), that eventually artists will kind of "absorb" them and draw these species almost exclusively and develop massive headcannons for them. and while these artists help spread the popularity, I personally would not like anyone to be (or seem) more involved in my own creation/headworld than I am (Im sure you can think of some artists who I'm referencing). While im sure it is not the intention of these adopters (or any adopters) to be malicious or invasive by creating fan-art, I am just afraid of the afore-mentioned bastardization.
TL'DR I have p much done away with any and all headworld/species adopts"

That makes sense. I can totally see what you're saying. Most of the time the culture around popular species is straight up annoying to me. I only asked because these guys are way cooler than designs I've seen by other people.
I love your work! Your designs, creatures, and style as well as pretty much everything you come up with is a pretty big inspiration to me.
