More brainfart than actual art, but I like it, so there! xDNo reference (I am a bad girl).
And I know they don't have eyes that colour, but it would be horribly dull if I'd done the eye in black as well, wouldn't it? I figure, with the number of inaccuracies already present, it probably wouldn't hurt to have one more...xD

I love the shine of blue in the Crows eye the most. The most popular description for a crows eye, is that it's highly reflective and very much like a small glass bead. This description very much fits the eye which you have drawn, even though the eye isn't black as a Crows eye probably should be.
I've also always noticed how shiny bird feathers actually are against light. You've captured that very well too. I love this crow, and I think the whole picture sets a great atmosphere about it. ^_^;
