In the fic I mentioned in my earlier scrap, Leon's Plaga isn't destroyed, but mutated into a special kind called an Indigo. It feeds from the auras of other lifeforms, and Leon's way is most common; via sexual contact. It's one of those "z0mg Ashley run or i will rape you!!!!!!!1" type things, but very well-written. I wish I could remember who it's by!
